We are looking for an experienced Production Lead to join our client’s facility in Devon!

Up to £27,000
Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Our Devon based client is currently looking for an experienced Production Lead to drive and lead their production team. This is a key role involving optimising of processes and procedures to ensure first -class experience is delivered across all products and challenge.
The ideal individual will have previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience within production or manufacturing and has knowledge of 5S.

What will the Production Lead be doing?
- Plan and lead daily production activities
- Ensuring all KPIs are met
- Plan and prioritise builds
- Raising of build plans
- Picking of stock required
- Delegating the builds to production team
- Ensuring completed build plans are complete on the ERP System and end storage
- Ensuring the required level of finished stock is available on the shelf
- Attend and lead production meetings
- Assist on production line when required
- Ensure that staff are always motivated through direction, coaching, and encouragement and assist in the management of a harmonious environment.
- To set controls and monitor performance of the production team, acting upon any issues where necessary
What we are looking for in the Production Lead?
- Production and Manufacturing team leader/supervisor experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Use of stock management systems
- Knowledge and experience in 5S and continuous improvement
- IT literate (Microsoft Office packages)
