Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 p.a. plus comm & benefits.

Successful business based in the region is looking for an experienced Sales Executive. Our client has an exciting opportunity where you will be integral in driving forward a new Division of the business.

This is NOT an Account Management role but a sales role where you will be using your contacts within the industry to build the business and therefore your status and earning potential.

You will be seasoned in working within the agricultural/construction industry building a portfolio of clients and maintaining relationships.

  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers.
  • This is very much about sales and less about Account Management.
  • You will be required to reach out to potential clients over the telephone and definitely face to face out in the field hence the incredible salary for your experience!
  • This role is primarily field-based (a typical minimum of 20% desk-based) with a requirement to make visits to customer sites when there is a clear business need.
  • Call cycles for customers and prospects using a variety of digital media, including video calls, to maintain close customer contact. Call cycle objectives should be set in the customer management plan (CMP).
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes and submission of tenders.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation of annual sales budgets and forecasts for the relevant territory.
  • Research all the markets this new Division is looking to exploit.
  • Improve share of wallet through upselling/cross-selling at required profitability level.
  • Work with the MD to develop Commercial relationships with customers using your pre-established relationships to formulate a Market Strategy Plan (MSP).
  • Enable the customer to receive required products & services in a timely manner by ensuring there is business alignment (including between sales, operations and logistics).
  • Forecast and tracks customer account metric achievement.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new customers in line with the agreed business plans.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and other departments such as procurement, accounts, route planners etc.
  • Service multiple customers concurrently (includes, prospects, new & existing).
  • Keep records of customer transactions and interactions (Brick wall, CMP, 5 min Planner).
  • Systems (CRM, SAP) and sales processes are followed.
