We are delighted to be working on behalf of a world leading manufacturer to recruit a Assembly Operative to join their team in Kirkcaldy on temporary to permanent basis. Role synopsis : Assembly Technician
Training would be provided to allow the following primary functions to be carried out:
- Cutting cable to the required length on customer orders.
- Making cable assemblies by terminating connectors onto cable.
- Operating cable spooling machinery to spool cable onto reels for customer orders.
- Assisting with quality checking orders to ensure order requirements have been fulfilled.
- Carrying out the Goods In Procedure to check goods in.
- Supporting Goods Out personnel with packaging activities intermittently as required.
- General Warehousing Activities
Days / hours of work
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. 45 minute lunch break (30 mins unpaid / 15mins paid).
Rate of pay
£12/hr whilst employed as an agency staff member.
*Strong performance may result in a full-time position being offered whereby a higher rate of pay may be on offer, coupled with an employee benefits package.
