Job Description

Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for Teaching Assistants for supply work across Oxfordshire. As Oxfordshire's leading Supply Agency, we have long standing relationships with schools across the county and we are looking for Teaching Assistants to work on both day to day supply as well as longer term roles.

We are especially busy in Oxford City itself but we have work for Teaching Assistants across the county in a variety of different settings; this includes Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools as well as SEND and Alternate Provision Schools. 

Role for Teaching Assistants:

  • Able to support the students in the class under the direction of the class teacher
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Ability to support students, on a whole class, small group and one to one basis, and encourage their progression
  • Comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

Requirements for Teaching Assistants:

  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
  • SEND experience is desirable
