Escape Recruitment are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our client's Industrial Engineering team in West Lothian. The Role
- Design products/tooling to meet customer specifications, ensuring alignment with company capabilities.
- Produce all required drawings and documentation to support the design process.
- Recommend and implement system modifications to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compile detailed working manuals and records to facilitate smooth forging operations.
- Understanding of equipment processes and materials characteristics
- Collaborating with various departments in the manufacturing process
- Data Analysis
The Candidate
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in an engineering business.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software
- Strong IT skills
- Highly organised, with a flexible approach to working.
- Excellent communication skills, confident, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Goal-oriented with a positive working attitude.
