Step Teachers and an Enfield Primary school are working together to create a stimulating, captivating, and supportive learning environment for students by partnering with an experienced Administrator with a background as a Welfare officer to join their team in a supply role starting immediately. The working hours will be from 07:30am to 3:15pm. The school focuses on the well-being of both students and staff contributes to its reputation as an excellent workplace.
Administrative Officer Role:
- As an Administrative Officer, you should deliver an efficient and responsive service. This includes answering queries, dealing with complaints, and providing referrals in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Always maintain a positive and professional image.
- As an Administrative Officer, you should undertake various administrative tasks including filing photocopying, and managing school supplies to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
- Be a team player, supporting colleagues during busy periods and providing cover when needed.
- Administrative Officer must cover the reception desk, answer the phone and also mark and update the register.
Administrative Officer Requirements:
- Ability to work systematically with attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Solves routine, or basic problems (escalating more complex problems as appropriate).
- The Administrative Officer must be able to work without supervision, prioritize workloads, and work to deadlines.
- Finds the right balance between the need for thoroughness against the urgency of response.
- Basic IT skills are essential.
- Manages routine day-to-day and week-to-week tasks effectively.
- The Administrative officer must have experience working as a Welfare officer.
