Job Description
Escape Recruitment are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Client based in Monkton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision parts for the engineering and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating CNC machines, as well as knowledge of programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to established parameters and specifications.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and identify errors or malfunctions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and ensure quality control.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Experience:-
- Experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines.
- Knowledge of programming languages.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You will work 39 hours over 4 days (Mon-Thurs). Ideal candidates would be able to work a day/night shift rotation on a 2 week basis.
All PPE and workwear needed for this role, alongside any health screening required will be provided by our client

Salary is dependant on Experience and will start from £23,500pa.
