Job Title: Financial Services Team Support Associate

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £25,000

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Advisers and Para-Planners, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services department.

  • Collaborate closely with Advisers and Para-Planners to ensure seamless operations within the Financial Services Team.
  • Prepare comprehensive Valuation Reports and packs for annual review meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process Fund Switches, Withdrawals, and New Business transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage daily mail distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Gather and organise plan/policy information from various Providers for client portfolios.
  • Address queries from the Tax Department regarding client investments and pensions, providing necessary information and support.
  • Perform Income and Fees Reconciliation tasks to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and utilising multiple provider platforms to support operational needs.

About You

  • Prior experience in a similar role within the financial services sector is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with the financial services sector
  • Knowledge and experience using Intelligent Office
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and platforms for financial data management.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
