Are you a passionate MFL Teacher? Step Teachers have an outstanding opportunity for a talented Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to join a vibrant school community in the beautiful Breckland district.

Position: MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) Location: Breckland District Start Date: June 2024 Contract: Long-term role

The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school whose students feel safe and happy in the school. The pupils arrive promptly and attend well. The teachers have a high expectations of the students regarding how they behave and expect the students to work hard. Leaders have designed an ambitious curriculum and lessons are taught well.  

Key Responsibilities of MFL Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in French and Spanish, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities. 
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and a love for languages.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum, plan activities, and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements of MFL Teacher: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Experience as MFL Teacher in UK mainstream school
  • Passion for language teaching and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Innovative and adaptable approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous improvement. 
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo necessary vetting checks
