Resourcery Group are delighted to be working with a leading business who are recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant.
Based just outside of Chester this exciting business offers exposure to a brilliant finance team, multiple business units and brands.
This role is perfect for someone in a senior Accounts Assistant or Assistant Management Accountant role that is looking to step up.
The ideal candidate should be able to display the following traits & experience:
- Strong experience of Financial Control, covering ledger accounting, accruals, prepayments and provisions is essential. Preferably this would be within an FMCG environment, although not essential.
- Preferably AAT qualified, or working to towards a finance qualification
- Suitable candidates should be able to evidence an ability to understand how business operations can impact the financial statements and vice versa.
- Strong communication skills with previous experience of working cross functionally
- Advanced excel skills are essential, previous experience of using SAP desirable.
This role will take ownership of financial reporting for a number of business units. This includes weekly P&L reporting, managing the period end process and reconciling the weekly MI reporting of Management accounts.
