Required Skills:

  • Delivering high volumes of high-quality food.
  • Menu development with excellent control of Gross profit and pricing.
  • Be aware of industry trends and regularly change the menus with seasonality of produce in mind.
  • Manage and be responsible for rotating the team and controlling budgeted staff costs.
  • Always maintain EHO standards.
  • Individual style shown throughout each menu.
  • Experience of working in a fresh food kitchen environment
  • Experienced in banqueting and large-scale events
  • The ability to work under pressure and a passion for constructing innovative and exciting menus
  • Recruit, train and develop a passionate kitchen team
  • Building relationships with supplier, kitchen management, stock, GP's

JWR is currently working with a stunning Hotel with large wedding, banqueting & event facilities in the Northampton area looking for a highly experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen, emphasising sustainability and crafting carbon-conscious menus

As Head Chef be tasked with the operational excellence for the venue ensuring that the food offer and standards are executed to the highest level. You will be adept at managing large teams of core members and casual staff.
