Customer Account Manager
OTE £33,000

You will be working with a manufacturer that has 80 employees. This vacancy sits within the sales team and is a vital role to manage customer accounts and support the growth of the business.

 Purpose of the role

Working as part of a business-to-business sales team focusing on building new business relationships. Conducting outbound calls to develop leads and prospects for potential new business. Contacting lapsed accounts and selling to existing clients to further maximize revenue.

 This is an office-based position.

  • 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday

 Main Responsibilities.

  • Discuss new products and updates on existing orders.
  • Negotiate prices to meet customer expectations and demand. Identify opportunities and develop Customer Accounts.
  • Proactively build relationships with customers, partners & Sales team.
  • Serving as the central resource with customers in order to answer questions on orders, deliveries, complaints, and additional sales.
  • Monitoring the spending on accounts and preparing a forecast for budgets
  • Ensuring that products delivered meet customer requirements and specifications.


  • Proven record of sales achievements
  • Previous experience in an account management position
    Computer Literate
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Confident and enthusiastic approach to developing relationships with existing customers.
  • Proven record of sales achievements
