Venatu Recruitment Group are seeking 2 experienced Steel Fixers to work on a project in Leeds LS10 starting 10th June for 8 weeks work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Cutting, bending, and securing steel bars or mesh to reinforce concrete structures, particularly retaining walls.
- Ensuring accurate placement and alignment of steel reinforcement.
- Working in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating effectively with the project team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, preferably with specific experience in building retaining walls.
- Blue CSCS card NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing or equivalent
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
