Step Teachers are looking for a Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school located just south of Southwold and North of Ipswich.
Job Description:
The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, starting in September. This role is for two days a week (Thursdays and Fridays) and involves working closely with a Teaching Assistant (TA) to support a diverse class, including students with Dyslexia and Hypermobility.
Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5/6 students.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of all students, including those with Dyslexia and Hypermobility.
- Work collaboratively with the TA to ensure effective support for all students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and development.
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience as a Primary Teacher teaching KS2 in Mainstream School
- Understanding and experience of working with children with Dyslexia and Hypermobility.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the ethos and values of our school.
