Mobile Service Technician
Location: Swindon
Shifts: Day shifts
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Monday - Friday and Saturdays on a rota basis

This is what your expected to do as a Mobile service technician :
- As a mobile service technician you will be providing a technical and diagnostic service.
- Plan necessary work and order parts to ensure vehicles are ready as promptly as possible.
- Maintain correct warranty procedures and clocking details in line with company procedures.
- Work closely with the service team, ensuring they are kept informed of the progress of work on customer vehicles and they are fully briefed on work completed.
- Discuss technical issues/works with directly customers when requested.
- Build and maintain a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles and utilise regular training and support.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings with other mobile service technicians.
- Inspection, maintenance and repairs of vehicles.
- Diagnostic and repair of mechanical issues such as steering, suspension and brake systems.
- Replacement/repairs of major units such as, timing belts, clutches and engine repair and rebuild.
- Mobile service technician are required to complete paperwork/job cards to a good standard.
The working hours of a mobile service technician:
Shifts: Monday - Friday and Saturdays on a rota basis
Flexibile patterns available - Overtime is an option.
The salary of a mobile srrvice technician:
Salary is dependant on experince and qualifications.
Basic's around £30,000 to £40,000 with additional Bonus and Overtime.
Bonus is acheiveable and can significantly increase overall income.
