Job Description

We are seeking an in-house legal executive to join a Legal 500 firm and work in the Risk and Compliance department to reduce the firm's exposure and ensure fee earners manage their work compliantly.

You will work with the COLP to ensure best practice processes are maintained, improved and followed. Keeping abreast of legislative changes you will take responsibility for complaints handling, assist with data protection, be involved to improve policy and procedures in relation to money laundering and managing any conflicts of interest.

This is a busy and interesting role that will support someone who has a real interest in regulation and wants to work alongside fee earners to ensure best practice and the firms many accreditations are maintained.

To be considered the role is open to someone working in a similar position in a law firm, as an legal assistant, qualified solicitor or legal executive who can demonstrate relevant experience. A good communicator, with the ability to converse internally to the Partnership and with clients, knowledge of report writing and able to demonstrate process improvements and drafting internal bulletins.
