Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Buying, as Category buyer, you will focus on the Frozen and Ambient range of the business.
As Category buyer, you will support in sourcing products effectively, whilst driving profitability, and managing partner and supplier relations, delivering cost saving strategies, negotiating the best possible prices, implementing contingency planning and help in the overall sales, profitability, and efficiency of the business.
As Category buyer, you will have previous experience in a similar Ambient/Frozen Buyer/Procurement Manager role with experience in own brand/branded products covering a range of categories.
You will have strong planning and prioritisation skills with resilience and the ability to work under pressure with excellent time and management skills.

Help Create, Lead and deliver the category strategy
Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance
Manage accurate cost files and trackers
Support sales team and work collaboratively across all departments.
