Job Description

Escape Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to support our clients manufacturing and service business units in Fife. In this role, you will implement and maintain the Quality Management System to enhance business performance. Your focus will include identifying, measuring, and improving key performance indicators (such as Cost of Poor Quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of quality specialists and support teams.
  • Implement and maintain customer feedback processes.
  • Develop and review quality plans, inspection test plans, and internal audit plans.
  • Track and manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct annual supplier risk assessments and determine audit needs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Significant experience in Quality Engineering or Continuous Improvement.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
  • Experience in sectors such as oil & gas, manufacturing, automotive, or medical devices is preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Lead auditor certification.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt.
  • Facilitation training.
