Job Description

Step Teachers are looking for a Maths teacher to join a school in Brandon for a long-term supply role starting September 2024. The outstanding Maths Teacher will be an effective part of the school team, dedicated to making engaging learning for their students. 

Key Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners.

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing feedback that fosters growth and improvement.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for all students.

Requirements to be a Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience as a Maths Teacher

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Maths.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching strategies.
