Job title: Project Planner
Salary: £60,000

Are you an experienced Project Planner with a background in construction?
Would you enjoy working for one of largest privately owned businesses in the UK?

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, our client is looking to employ an experienced Project Planner to join the team in Somerset. You will work alongside an already established and experienced project team to help ensure that projects are being delivered on time and on programme. Managing & updating the programme throughout the length of the project will key to the successful delivery of projects as you will be expected to liaise with clients and internal teams on any changes of the project's programme.

As a Project Planner you will:

  • Produce reports for both contractors and clients
  • Monitor programme against actual progress and produce updated programmes & reports
  • Interrogate sub contractor programmes
  • Liaise with both internal and external teams including operations & commercial teams
  • Attend monthly meetings with Quantity Surveyors
  • Identify any risks within the projects & programmes

We would welcome conversations with Planner's who:

  • Is qualified to a degree level in project or construction management
  • Have a background in the construction industry
  • Possess strong analytical & reporting skills
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of different software packages such as Asta & MS Projects
  • Hold strong planning & organisational skills
  • Can communicate across all levels
