Job Description

You will be an accounts assistant working in the legal sector, seeking career growth and more responsibility. This is a busy legal firm and you will be involved in a variety of work.

Key skills and experience will see you monitoring client accounts and incoming payments for both domestic and international payments via the firm's bank accounts. You will have access to online banking and undertake a variety of payments and credit work. You will authorise payments and ensure SAR compliance at all times.

This role will report into the Accounts Manager and we have been asked to find someone mathematical with very good attention to detail. You will maintain accurate records, ensuring credit control, manage ledger transactions, process invoices and post/upload on a variety of systems. The position will see you working closely with fee earners where you will also help them with their age debt, chase payments and at times process refunds. This role will also see you reconciling the Land Registry account for the property team.
