The Role: As Interim Headteacher, you'll have the opportunity to lead and shape the future of our school during this transitional period. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong leadership and strategic direction to drive continued improvement and success.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes respect and understanding.
  • Supporting and empowering staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community to enhance partnership working and engagement.
  • Ensuring effective management of resources and budgetary responsibilities.
  • Upholding the school's values and ethos, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in primary education, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A clear understanding of current educational trends, policies, and best practices.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate others, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a positive outlook, especially in times of change and challenge.
