ROLE: Events Operations Manager
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: £30,000 per year

Join our client, a well-established conference venue, as an Events Operations Manager in Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and execute a diverse range of events throughout the year, from intimate meetings and AGMs to grand product launches, festive Christmas parties, and expansive conferences and exhibitions accommodating up to 1000 attendees.

As a hands-on Events Operations Manager, your primary focus will be on ensuring impeccable service delivery and meeting the expectations of our guests on event days. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in meeting and greeting clients. Reporting directly to Senior Managers, you will receive all the necessary support and resources, including staffing, to ensure the seamless execution of each event.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operational aspects of events, maintaining a hands-on approach throughout.
* Ensure impeccable service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
* Collaborate with Senior Managers to ensure all required resources, including staff, are readily available for successful event execution.

Essential Skills:
* Proven track record in Conference & Banqueting or meeting & Events operations within a busy conference venue, meetings venue, or hotel.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently manage and execute events successfully.
* Significant experience in handling large events and functions, catering to approximately 1000 delegates.
* Flexibility in managing work demands and adapting to changing priorities.
