Finance Business Partner


Resourcery Group is excited to collaborate with a Manchester-based not-for-profit organisation that seeks to bring on board two Finance Business Partners to join their successful and collaborative team. These newly created positions aim to strategically guide and develop their network. The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and support to key stakeholders. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis, with a focus on collaborating with various departments to drive business performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

This is a unique role, ideal for an individual who is an experienced accountant with a desire to be part of team within an innovative not for profit organisation.

  • Provide Strategic Financial Partnership
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and budget holders to provide financial insight, challenge, and support decision-making.
  • Develop forward-looking financial forecasts, scenario and sensitivity analysis models, and funding plans to aid strategic decision-making and driving financial sustainability.
  • Financial Analysis & Communication
  • Interpret and communicate financial results and trends, identifying opportunities for efficiency or risk mitigation.
  • Present complex financial information in an accessible and persuasive way for non-financial audiences.
  • Working with the Chief Executive, communicate financial results to the Treasurer, Finance Committee, highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing monthly management accounts, working to maintain and deliver a high level of quality
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration -Advise and support fundraisers with financial input for funding applications and grant reporting (where required).Work with the Finance Director to develop and provide training and support to various teams to maintain high standards of financial management. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, using technology to elevate and enhance our service offer and delivery.
