Sales Account Manager needed in Nottingham (East)
  • Basic Salary - £18,000
  • OTE c. £45,000
  • 40 Hour Working Week - Sales Executive money without Sales Executive hours

Our client in Newark is seeking an Account Manager to join its expanding team.

Are you an Automotive Sales Executive, or someone working in the motor trade with experience in a role that involves sales?

Your duties as an Account Manager with our client:
  • Follow up customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Follow up enquiries as they come in, following our client's procedures to ensure contact is made.
  • Understand customer requirements including timescale, specifications and complete all due diligence (i.e., copies of driving licence, FCA documents, eligibility for discounts).
  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed a customer’s expectations, whilst providing the best deal possible.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers in a professional manner.
  • Work to the highest standards of FCA requirements, maintaining accurate paperwork and records, treating the customer fairly and adhering to the core FCA principles.
  • Handle finance applications for customers and ensure customers are eligible for finance before ordering, including sending disclosure documents at the time of applying.
  • Prospect leads to try and obtain sales from customers who have bought previously.
  • Complete and ensure all documentation is obtained, seeking confirmation from the dealership and ensure that the customer’s order pack is fully complete before passing over to the next team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date deal book.
  • Liaise with the delivery team on all aspects of finance and delivery as and when necessary.
