Job Description

Step Teachers are currently seeking an Early Years Lead & Class Teacher position at a school in Enfield. The role is set to begin in September 2024 and will be full-time for the entire academic year.

The school is graded continually 'Good' by Ofsted. They are looking for a passionate and well-rounded teacher to uphold this standard, along with supporting the existing team of dedicated Class Teachers and management on their journey to becoming an outstanding school.

As an Early Years Lead your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with fellow educators and school staff to ensure a seamless learning experience
  • Adapting quickly to different school settings and classroom dynamics
  • Delivering engaging lessons using the Early Years framework
  • Providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of learning styles and how to incorporate visual and auditory learning opportunities into lesson planning/delivery would be a considerable asset in this role
  • Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices and support and lead teachers in the phase group

To undertake the role of an Early Years Lead, you must have the following:

  • Must hold QTS/ EYTS
  • Strong Early Years Foundation Stage curricular knowledge 
  • Extensive experience as an Early Years Teacher looking for the next step up or in an Early Years Lead
