Position: Maths Teacher (Part-time) Location: Norwich, UK Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Duration: Long-term supply

The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school who have excellent leadership in its headteacher and senior leadership team. Subject-lead teachers are leading improvements in their subject area and pupils make good process in a wide range of subjects. The school works to ensure that the disadvantaged pupils make rapid progress and pupils’ behaviour is excellent. There is also a sixth form on site which is also rated “Good” by Ofsted  

Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

  1. Deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.
  3. Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum materials and educational resources.
  5. Participate in school-wide events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience of students.
  6. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support student success and address any concerns.

Qualifications of a Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics with the ability to teach up to secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
