ROLE: Meeting & Events Sales Executive - 4-star Hotel
LOCATION: Wolverhampton
SALARY: £30,000 per year plus incentives and Bonus

Our client is an independent Hotel, Conference & Events venue, situated in the Black Country area and is looking for an experienced Meeting & Events Sales Executive.

You will need to have an excellent background as an experienced Meeting & Events Sales Executive and are currently working in hotels or conference venues that can accommodate up to 300 or more delegates.

The Meeting and Events Sales Executive will be responsible for handling bookings and coordinating a variety of events such as: Conference, Meetings as well as Weddings and Private Parties, Proms and Sporting events to maximise revenue and profit through effective meeting room management.

This is a reactive role and as such you will need to be able to handle all incoming enquiries to maximise sales and convert as many existing enquiries and tentative bookings as possible through to and including the contracted stage.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous or recent experience of working in a busy sales office within a 3- or 4-star hotel.
  • Used to handling meeting and events bookings and coordinating a function sheet for the hotel operations team
  • Enjoy building relationships with your clients and often going the extra mile to ensure their event runs smoothly and hopefully encourage repeat bookings.
