Despatch Team Member

Some key responsibilities of Despatch Team Members are as follows:

• Despatch of UK and International orders promptly
• Set up, operation and monitoring of equipment and or processes to receive goods, manufacture or despatch customer goods.
• Accurately prepare documentation for shipments
• Cross functional department communication
• Understanding & Following Defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensuring Tasks are Completed Safely
• Maintaining Housekeeping & Workplace Organisation Standards
• Undertaking Agreed Training & Development
• Assist with additional duties as required

The Despatch Team Members complete their allocated tasks and activities, as defined, to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Efficiency and Delivery are consistently achieved.

Experience Required:

• • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing, logistical or operational environment would be advantageous.
  • A valid forklift license is not essential but would also be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible in working environment and duties.
  • A positive attitude
  • Able to work on task independently as well as confidently contributing to team working

A driving license is essential for the role, there are occasions where you will be required to deliver products to local customers using a client's vehicle.
