Project Manager - Restaurant Group
JWR is currently working with an exciting restaurant group, seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead the successful launch of our new restaurant locations.

Package from £65k + Company benefits and travel expenses.

As a Project Manager for this restaurant group, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of opening new restaurant locations, from initial planning to post-launch.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that each new restaurant achieves its full potential.
The role will involve travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with senior management to develop project time-lines, budgets, and goals.
  • Coordinating contractors
  • Obtaining necessary permits and licenses
  • Ensuring compliance with local building and health regulations
  • Creating and managing project budgets, including expenses for construction, equipment, and staffing.
  • Monitoring expenditures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Managing construction time-lines and schedules to ensure timely completion of new restaurant builds.
  • Conducting regular site visits to inspect progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborating with HR to recruit and hire restaurant staff, including managers, chefs, and front-of-house personnel.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to on-board new staff and ensure consistent service quality across locations.
  • Coordinating with vendors to procure equipment, furniture, and supplies for new restaurants.
  • Overseeing pre-opening marketing and promotional efforts to generate buzz and attract customers.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in the restaurant industry, with a track record of successfully opening new restaurant locations on time and to budget.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
