Job Description

You're an experienced, qualified management accountant maybe feeling like the business you're in is stunting your growth.

Itching for change, you'd thrive somewhere where challenges are part of the everyday. Good change.

How about this place?

Somewhere with a Financial Controller who listens to her team and is restructuring to ensure that the department and all its individuals thrive during the continued growth.

Indeed the finance team are about to go through a year of transformation with investment in people and tech.

Company revenue is circa £160m and forms part of a wider, £2 bn t/o group. So there's scope to progress.

You'll be needed as an additional headcount, joining a team of management accountants who have responsibility for their foreign entities and for a central function each.

As you'd expect, you'll be working in foreign currencies, and responsible for the month-end processing, reporting and variance analysis. As well as working with a colleague to build budgets and forecasts.

A depth of experience in this area is necessary, with drip-feeding of work in months one and two and then in month three, the stabilisers will be off.
You'll be fine, they all look out for each other.

You'll do well here if you don't take everything at face value but question how things can be done better, and more efficiently, whilst supporting your colleagues.

Working from home three days a week, you'll be in central Leeds for two days, more if you prefer to be in the office as some of the team do.

It's a 37.5-hour week and there can be some flexibility in your working day, provided it complements the geographical areas you're serving across Europe.

You'll get 22 days of annual leave plus eight bank holidays, rising with service to 25 days.
