Job Description

This successful in house organisation seeks a Senior Pensions Lead to lead the employer liaison and governance function of the pensions division. Duties will be varied but key responsibilities will include;

* Leading admissions, cessations and bulk transfers.
* Liaising with employers about TUPE implications during outsourcing.
* Supporting employers and their payroll providers to deliver their responsibilities within the Scheme.
* Overseeing all fund policies, risk registers, training plans etc.
* Coordinating the production of the fund actuary's accounting reports, such as IAS19 and FRS102 reports for employers.
* Providing the line management for a senior pensions officer.

To be considered you will have a good understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme and relevant legislation/regulations knowledge. Along with experience providing employer liaison and/or governance duties.
