Front of House Reception Manager Required for Car Dealership in Battersea, South London
  • £36,000 Basic + Bonus
  • 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

We are currently working with a well-established National Motor Trade Dealer Group who have been operating in our local area for over 20 successful years and counting. Our client has an excellent reputation and operate with over 6 different vehicle brands in the South of the UK and achieved various industry recognised employee awards over the years! They are currently seeking an experienced Front of House Customer Reception Manager to join their Car Dealership aftersales team.

As the Front of House Reception Manager for Aftersales, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences within the dealership's service department. You will oversee a team of service advisors and work closely with the Workshop Management team, ensuring that all customer inquiries, appointments, and service requests are handled efficiently and with the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Reception Manager with our client:
  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage and oversee the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and welcoming.
  • Coordinate front-of-house activities, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks related to customer visits.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient customer experience.
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements our Car Dealership client is looking for in their Front of House Service Reception Manager:
  • Proven experience in a front-of-house or reception management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office software and appointment scheduling systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
