 Autocentre Manager - Automotive Service and Operations

Location: Leicester

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a dedicated Centre Manager on behalf of a prominent automotive service provider specialising in vehicle servicing, MOTs, and repairs. With a network of 30 centres across the UK, our client is known for their commitment to transparent pricing and unparalleled customer service, holding a prestigious Which? Trusted Trader status.

As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the overall management and leadership of your centre and team, with ultimate accountability for operational performance across people management, service operations, profitability, sales, and administrative duties. This role is hands-on, requiring your active involvement in service bays to train, motivate, and support the team in maintaining seamless and efficient operations. Ideally, you will also be experienced and qualified to perform MOT testing, fast-fit repairs, or servicing as needed to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively achieving or exceeding sales targets and operating budgets.

- Driving the quality and consistency of customer service.

- Ensuring targets for transaction and customer satisfaction are met.

- Efficiently managing customer complaints and resolutions.

- Effectively managing team resources to build a strong local brand reputation.

- Overseeing stock management and ordering processes.

- Contributing to the development of the centre through PR and marketing initiatives to enhance business visibility.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the automotive industry.

- Proven track record in managing customer relations and leading small teams.

Required Criteria:

- Full UK Driving Licence.

- Three years of management experience.
