Internal Sales Executive

Our client is looking for 2 Internal Sales executive to join the business to expand the customer portfolio.

Full product training will be given and for the right person a clear career path with progression opportunities

To be successful in this vacancy you will need previous experience in sales and a willingness to learn.

This is an office-based vacancy.

 An idea candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious, have eye on detail and good commercial acumen.

Duties include

  • Managing and growing sales with customers-list / Key accounts including contacting current /dormant customers for orders
  • Monitor supply chain for timely fulfilment of orders and take pro-active efforts to meet customer required deliveries dates
  • Inform order status to customers and seek replenishment orders, maintain healthy stock levels to ensure customers doesn’t run out of products
  • Report stock levels to customers; also keep an eye on slow moving stock
  • Offer prices to customers, raise sales & purchase orders, proforma invoices through Sage
  • Resolve customer disputes/ issues regarding quality expectations product shortages, damages, any urgent and late delivery issues.
  • Ability to generate leads through various resources provided by the company, contact prospective customers via phone, email and advise sales team to visit customers for business development and other business matters.
  • Prepare & submit sales reports as desired by management of the company!
  • Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, , sales-campaigns , strategies and programmes
  • Communicating with customers over the phone, video-call and emails to understand their requirements / problems and offer solutions.

Essential requirements

  • A confident communicator with can do attitude, with a polite but firm telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service provider.
  • A commercial, common-sense approach
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Performance measurement is based on retention and growth of business plus overall professional performance / behaviour aspect with team
