REQUIRED: SOC ANALYST - SC OR DV CLEARANCE REQUIRED LOCATION: CHELTENHAM (Shifts covering a 24hr operation 12-12 ) IR35 STATUS: INSIDE CONTRACT DURATION: 6 MONTHS INITIALLY Our client are seeking new talent to join the Security team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate and work in their SOC based in Cheltenham. Responsibilities: As a Security Analyst, you will apply security skills to investigate security alerts generated by SIEM. You will be required to actively participate and contribute in team discussions, as well as provide solutions to work-related problems. Strong experience in Security Operations Monitoring is required, ideally with tools such as MS Sentinel, Google Chronicle. Experience in Security Threat Hunting Operations is recommended. Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track remediation of security incidents Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to proactively address emerging threats Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
