Live-In Housekeeper/Companion
We are seeking a kind-hearted, genuine, and reliable live-in Housekeeper/Companion to support an elderly gentleman who has recently returned home after a period of illness and respite care. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is warm, attentive, and experienced in a similar role, and who takes pride in providing both practical help and gentle companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day companionship and support.
- Assist with light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep of the home.
- Prepare and cook nutritious, enjoyable meals daily.
- Drive the gentleman to medical appointments, run errands, and assist with occasional outings.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals or family members when needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience in a similar live-in companion/housekeeping role.
- A confident and capable cook, able to prepare wholesome and varied meals.
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Trustworthy, compassionate, and patient, with excellent references.
- Organised, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining a calm and respectful environment.
