Interim Quality Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £200.48 per day umbrella

Job Description:
We are seeking an Interim Quality Manager to oversee the quality of works on schemes delivered by a London Local Authorities Capital Works Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects meet high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for the quality of works on schemes delivered by the Capital Works Team.
  • Provide professional reports and information regarding Major Works progress, quality, and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed responsibilities outlined in Scheme Quality Plans.
  • Address technical and quality matters raised by residents and stakeholders, including during the Rectification Period.
  • Conduct audits to ensure projects are defect-free, meet quality standards, and comply with specifications.
  • Administer Scheme Quality Plans in accordance with standards and testing regimes.
  • Conduct site inspections, record findings, and report on defects and rectification.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or housing management.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing projects to high standards.
